A weak system will approach the region Sunday morning with increasing clouds and light precipitation. Light snow will be possible across Wise and Russell Counties in Virginia. Snowfall of one-half inch or less is expected for most areas with up to 1 inch of snow possible across the highest elevations.
Slow down and use caution if traveling across the higher elevations of southwest Virginia late on Sunday.
