At 331 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 11 miles southeast of Pennington Gap, or 14 miles east of Jonesville, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Gate City, Weber City, Spurgeon, Colonial Heights, Gray, and Oak Grove.
