At 1136 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hoffman, or 13 miles southwest of Southern Pines, moving east at 35 mph.
Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Raeford, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Hoffman, Antioch, Hope Mills, Pinebluff, Ellerbe and Foxfire.
