At 304 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall covering much of the area from just north of Wilkesboro, to Roaring Gap, to to Lambsburg, to just southeast of Hillsville, moving northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rainfall on saturated ground.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor flooding, especially in poor drainage and low-lying, normally flood prone areas.
