Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Buchanan and Dickenson.

* WHEN...
Until 430 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of Russell Fork at Bartlick is possible, and flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1039 PM EDT, emergency management reported roads covered due to heavy rain in the Haysi area, and from McClure to Nora, in Dickenson County, and in the Hurely and Bull Creek areas in Buchanan County. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
