Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 to 65 mph.

In Maryland, Garrett County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...
From 1 PM this afternoon to 3 PM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...
Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
A rapid freeze is possible as temperatures quickly drop during the afternoon and evening. Visibility will be reduced to a quarter mile or less at times late this afternoon through Monday resulting in blizzard conditions and significant blowing and drifting snow.
