* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following counties, Greene, Martin and Pitt.

* WHEN...
Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 903 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greenville, Farmville, Bethel, Bell Arthur, Robersonville, Bruce, Fountain, Parmele, Walstonburg, Everetts and Falkland.
