At 409 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Meadows to near Boger City. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Lexington, Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Huntsville, and Linwood.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 84 and 124.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 182 and 223.
Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 89 and 103.
Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 56 and 79.
