Special Weather Statement issued December 2 at 5:47PM EST by NWS Blacksburg VA
Fog will impact travel this evening across southwest Virginia, northwest North Carolina and southeast West Virgina. Visibilities will be poor tonight.
This includes along and south of Route 460 and along Interstate-81.
Several observations less than one half mile have been reported along I-77 through Fancy Gap, across Southside, Virginia, and in the mountains of northwest North Carolina.
Light to moderate rain will also continue through Sunday morning.
Little improvement in visibility is expected tonight.
Those traveling should allow extra time to get to your destination. In fog use low beam headlights and slow down.
