Special Weather Statement issued November 28 at 4:03AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
Snow showers are expected to linger through mid-morning along the Allegheny Mountains. Snowfall totals may reach 1 to 3 inches along and west of the Eastern Continental Divide. Temperatures in the upper teens and lower 20s will allow snow to accumulate easily on untreated roadways, and compaction from automobile tires may lead to very slippery conditions. Gusty winds will also result in reduced visibility in falling snow.
If traveling, be prepared for changing conditions and slick roadways. Slow down and increase following distance.
