Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Cabarrus.

* WHEN...
Until 330 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 132 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to training storms across greater Concord. It is possible that as much as 2 inches of new rainfall may accumulate in spots.
Watch for developing high water conditions, especially on the west side of Concord and toward Harrisburg. Localized rapid rises may also occur along the Rocky River, Coddle Creek, and Irish Buffalo Creek.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, West Concord, Harrisburg and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
