At 610 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles northwest of Shelby, or near Polkville, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Shelby, Boiling Springs NC, Belwood, Lawndale, Fallston, Polkville, Ellenboro, Lattimore, Mooresboro, and Kingstown.
