At 450 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ansted to near Mount Hope. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Rainelle, Babcock State Park, Oak Hill, Ansted, Thurmond, and Nettie.
This includes Route 19 between mile markers 19 and 34.
