Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Giles and Pulaski.
Until 630 PM EDT today.
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

- At 1228 PM EDT, Between 2.0 and 4.0 inches of rain fell across much of the region during the past 24 hours. This has resulted in excessive runoff of rainfall into area creeks, streams, and rivers. Minor flooding is occurring along the Walker Creek at Bane and throughout the region along the creek and its tributaries. At 1230 PM EDT this afternoon, Walker Creek at Bane had risen to the flood stage of 11.0 feet and was still rising. The river could rise to 12.0 feet through the afternoon. Flooding along this portion of the river and along other sections of the river and its tributaries will likely continue into the evening hours.

Sugar Run, Back Creek, Stony Creek, Sinking Creek, Little Stony Creek, Racepath Branch, Cecil Branch, New River, Dry Branch, Little Walker Creek and Broad Hollow Creek.

Pearisburg, Pembroke, Poplar Hill, Bane, Eggleston and Kimballton.
