On Wednesday, the combination of wind gusts between 25 and 35 mph, relative humidity levels of 20 to 25 percent, and dryness across the region will lead to an increased fire danger across all of central North Carolina.
Outdoor burning is discouraged Wednesday. Please refer to your local burn permitting authority on whether you can burn. If you do burn, use extreme caution and ensure that fire suppression equipment is readily available.
