Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches, with locally higher amounts likely. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph will result in significant blowing and drifting of snow, with visibility one-quarter mile or less expected at times.

Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Randolph, and Southeast Webster Counties.

* WHEN...
Until 10 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.
