Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of northern West Virginia, including the following counties, southeastern Marion and central Monongalia.

* WHEN...
Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 832 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported numerous roads and buildings flooded across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.7 inches of rain have fallen today.
- Little or no additional rainfall is expected this evening, though runoff from earlier heavy rain will continue to cause flooding across the area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fairmont, Pleasant Valley, Winfield, Barrackville, Monongah, Rivesville, Grant Town, Farmington, Worthington, Bentons Ferry, Colfax, Baxter, White Hall, Idamay, Valley Falls, Everettville and Carolina.
