Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Franklin, Granville, Vance and Warren.

* WHEN...
Until 1145 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. This includes along Interstate 85 between Oxford and the Virginia State Line.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 833 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Louisburg, Warrenton, Butner, Franklinton, Norlina, Littleton, Kittrell, Youngsville, Stem, Stovall, Middleburg, Macon, Centerville, Gillburg, South Henderson, Ingleside and Afton.
