* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Chatham, Durham, Franklin and Wake.

* WHEN...
Until 1000 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated, especially along Crabtree Creek, Beaver Creek and portions of Walnut Creek. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 819 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. This includes Interstate 40 between Research Triangle and Raleigh.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, RDU International, Apex, Morrisville, Youngsville, William B Umstead State Park, Research Triangle, Carpenter, New Hill, Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, Crosswinds Campground, Crosswinds Boating Center and Jordan Lake State Rec Area.
