* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Davidson, Forsyth and Guilford.

* WHEN...
Until 315 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1213 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Pockets of between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen, including on the south side of Winston-Salem.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Thomasville, Kernersville, Summerfield, Stokesdale, Walkertown, Jamestown, Colfax, Oak Hollow Marina, Sedge Garden, Lake Brandt, Belews Lake, Lake Jeanette Marina, Lake Townsend, Welcome and Lake Townsend Marina.
