Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of north central North Carolina, including the following counties, Rockingham and Stokes.

* WHEN...
Until 530 PM EDT.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

- At 330 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cascade Creek, Brushy Fork Creek, Baker Branch, Big Beaver Island Creek, Dan River and Belews Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
