At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Sandyville, or 11 miles southwest of Elizabeth, moving north at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Elizabeth, Mineralwells, Reedy, Lucille, Peewee, Freeport, Walker, Greencastle, Morristown, Rockport, Leroy, and Palestine.
This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 155 and 170.
