Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
Alamance, Guilford, Orange, and northern Randolph counties.

* WHEN...
Until 145 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1144 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding, especially on streets and in urban areas.

Greensboro, High Point, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough, Randleman, Carrboro, Mebane, Elon, McLeansville, Archdale, Summerfield, Trinity, Gibsonville, Stokesdale, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Liberty and Haw River.
