At 20.0 feet, South Street, Depot Street and East Second Steet are flooded and impassable near Gross Creek. River Road and North Virginia Street are closed and impassable. Water reaches the structures and business along Plank Road near Main Street and also the Appomattox River Company building.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:50 AM EST Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
