At 635 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles northeast of Sanford, moving southeast at 40 mph.
Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Lillington, Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Erwin, Coats, Harris Lake Boat Launch, Seminole, Raven Rock State Park, Buies Creek and Shearon Harris Reservoir.
