At 1036 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Ravenswood, or 8 miles north of Ripley, moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Elizabeth, Grantsville, Ravenswood, Sandyville, Reedy, Portland, Mount Alto, Cherry, Peewee, Smithville, Mount Zion, Palestine, Cottageville, Lucille, Creston, Morristown, Big Springs, Rockport, Brohard, and Macfarlan.
This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 139 and 162.
