Intermittent light precipitation will move into portions of north central and northern Virginia and the northern Shenandoah Valley late this morning. This precipitation could take the form of snow, sleet, or freezing rain. With temperatures in some areas still near or below freezing, some slippery spots may form on roadways.
If traveling this morning, be prepared for changing conditions.
Reduce speed, increase following distance, and allow for extra travel time. Temperatures should rise above freezing around or shortly after 11 AM.
