Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

A portion of west central Virginia, including the following county, Botetourt.

* WHEN...
Until 515 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 356 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain which prompted the advisory has exited the region. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area as water from the earlier heavy rains collects in streams and other low lying areas.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Catawba Creek, Little Patterson Creek, Town Branch, Slate Branch, Stone Coal Creek, James River, Lees Creek, North Fork Catawba Creek and Craig Creek.
