Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 19 at 5:53PM EDT until July 19 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds, torrential rainfall, and frequent lightning are still possible with this storm and any other thunderstorms through tonight.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central North Carolina.
