Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties, Charlotte and Halifax.

* WHEN...
Until 545 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 349 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Buffalo Creek, Black Walnut Creek, Aarons Creek, Dan River, Banister River, Big Branch, Cargills Creek, Delaney Creek, Devils Branch, Difficult Creek and Bluestone Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
