At 723 AM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Terra Alta to near Philippi.
Movement was east at 50 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Mountain Lake Park, Oakland, Bayard, Piedmont, Loch Lynn Heights, Deer Park, Elk Garden, Kitzmiller, Luke, Redhouse, Hutton, Gorman, Crellin, Deep Creek Lake State Park, Swallow Falls State Park, McHenry, Big Run State Park, McComas Beach, Beechwood, and Hartmansville.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
