At 1111 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles south of Ronda to 5 miles southeast of Monroe. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Concord, Salisbury, Mocksville, Kannapolis, China Grove, Spencer, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Mt Pleasant, and Bermuda Run.
