Temperatures will remain at or around freezing over the next 2 to 4 hours as light precipitation moves in. A brief period of light freezing rain and sleet is possible with limited accumulations expected. Highest winter impacts will be confined to elevations above 1000 feet. Even with that said, use caution and slow down if driving over elevated bridges, ramps, and overpasses.
Any residual sleet and freezing rain will change to cold rain in these locations later this afternoon and evening outside the Catoctin Mountains.
