THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 73 IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 7 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST OHIO ATHENS JACKSON MEIGS MORGAN PERRY VINTON WASHINGTON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ATHENS, BELPRE, CROOKSVILLE, HAMDEN, JACKSON, MARIETTA, MCARTHUR, MCCONNELSVILLE, NEW LEXINGTON, OAK HILL, POMEROY, SOMERSET, STOCKPORT, AND WELLSTON.
