A band of freezing rain will move across the Triad, southern Piedmont, and western Piedmont of central North Carolina between now and 9 PM this evening. Some pockets of sleet may additionally mix in at times. Ice accumulation of a tenth to two tenths of an inch of ice may accumulate on roads, bridges, overpasses, and sidewalks, resulting in extremely hazardous road conditions.
