North Central Roane County in central West Virginia... North Central Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Barbour County in northeastern West Virginia... North Central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Northern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Doddridge County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Harrison County in northern West Virginia... Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Taylor County in northern West Virginia... Southeastern Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... * WHEN... Until 430 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 127 PM EDT, Several creeks remain out of their banks across the warned area this afternoon, resulting in numerous flooded roads. It will take until late this afternoon before a majority of creeks recede back into their banks. Scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected later this afternoon which could prolong the flooding in some locations. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Weston, Philippi, Glenville, Grantsville, Belington, Jackson Mill, Jane Lew, Sand Fork, and Alum Bridge. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 79 and 112.
