At 717 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Asheboro to Cleveland.
Movement was east at 15 mph.
Heavy rain and minor flooding will be possible with these storms.
Wind gusts up to 40 mph will also be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Asheboro, Lexington, North Carolina Zoo, Seagrove, Linwood, Ramseur, Denton, Franklinville, Staley and Gordontown.
