At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles north of Tusculum, or 13 miles northeast of Greeneville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Johnson City, Kingsport, Gate City, Weber City, Gray, Spurgeon, Colonial Heights, Oak Grove, Church Hill, and Mount Carmel.
