For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 7 below expected. For the Extreme Cold Watch, in elevations above 3500 feet, dangerously cold wind chills of 15 below to 19 below possible.

* WHERE...
Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Northern Jackson, Swain, and Yancey Counties.

* WHEN...
For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 4 AM to 10 AM EST Monday. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from 6 PM Monday evening through noon Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...
The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 19 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes.
