Flash Flood Warning issued July 9 at 4:42PM EDT until July 9 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 442 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen and flooding was reported along Unionvale Kenwood Road even as rain has come to an end. Additional water rises in Fork Short Creek into Short Creek are expected.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain showers.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Tiltonsville, Adena, Dillonvale, Rayland and Newell.
