Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Swain, and Yancey Counties.

* WHEN...
Until 1 PM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...
The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and produce scattered power outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
