* WHAT...
Mixed precipitation expected. Ice accumulations averaging one to two tenths of an inch in the higher elevations, with locally higher amounts possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch across northern and western Maryland and portions of eastern West Virginia.

* WHERE...
Portions of north central and western Maryland, central, northwest, and western Virginia, and eastern West Virginia.

* WHEN...
Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Plan on slippery road conditions, especially bridges and overpasses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Precipitation will start as a brief period of snow and/or sleet across north central and Maryland and portions of the eastern panhandle of West Virginia this morning.
Precipitation will change over to freezing rain by afternoon.
Further south, precipitation is expected to start as freezing rain. Expect the most impactful freezing rain above 1500 feet elevation. Precipitation will become plain rain by this evening for most locations.
