* At 1114 AM EDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms previously produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Fayetteville, Oak Hill, Montgomery, Chesapeake, Marmet, Ansted, Belle, Cedar Grove, East Bank, Glasgow, Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Pratt, Burnwell, Powellton, Hawks Nest State Park, Coal Fork, Handley, Sylvester and Thurmond.
This includes the following highways...
Route 19 between mile markers 8 and 16...and between mile markers 18 and 23. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 57 and 92.
