At 1131 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Kenna, or 11 miles northeast of Winfield, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Charleston, Sissonville, Clendenin, Pinch, Kenna, Elkview, Coal Fork, Kentuck, and Liberty.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 between mile markers 1 and 21.
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 105 and 126.
