Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of less than a tenth of an inch.

High elevations of Buncombe County around the Black Mountains.

* WHEN...
Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS...
Difficult travel conditions are possible at high elevations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Ice accumulations are expected to occur over parts of eastern Buncombe County around the Black Mountains. Ice accumulations are not expected around the City of Asheville at this time. After midnight tonight, any lingering precipitation will change to snow as colder air moves in, mainly over the northern part of the county and the high elevations of the Black Mountains. A light accumulation of snow might occur Monday morning at elevations above 3500 feet.
