At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles southwest of Gastonia, or near Kings Mountain State Park, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
York, Gastonia, Kings Mountain, South Gastonia, Clover, Grover, Crowders Mountain State Park, Lake Wylie, Kings Mountain State Park, and Crowders.
