At 725 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from near Deep Gap to 8 miles southwest of Downtown Asheville. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Asheville, Marion, Spruce Pine, Lenoir, Black Mountain, Swannanoa, and Fairview.
