At 926 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southeast of Newton to near Huntersville to 6 miles west of Downtown Concord. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Gastonia, Uptown Charlotte, Huntersville, Downtown Concord, Lincolnton, Kannapolis, Northeast Charlotte, Northwest Charlotte, West Concord and Cornelius.
