At 541 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Franklinton to near Raleigh to 8 miles west of Fuquay-Varina. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Cary, Smithfield, Louisburg, Lillington, Wake Forest, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, and Zebulon.
