Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Mecklenburg.

* WHEN...
Until 930 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 807 PM EDT, Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, watch for developing out of bank conditions in parts of the Irwin and Stewart Creek Basins. Common flood prone areas include but are not limited to the Stewart Creek Greenway, MLK Community park and Severesville Park. Also watch for high water near Double Oaks and Anita Stroud Parks.
